Ants On My Meditation

During my meditation today, after my ritual grounding, centering, cleansing. I found myself inside a hole belonging to an ant's colony. I saw 3 ants eating the yellow crust of my hidden place. Thru then I could see the blue sky but it was so real, so vivid and disturbing being in that situation. I couldn't concentrate no more on my meditation. The question now is, what is the meaning of ants on spirituality if they have a meaning? Why I was in that situation? I guess I will find my answers as I go thru my path but if anyone have any knowledge about ants and spirituality let me know.
